I started my real estate career in 1992, where I managed large apartment properties in the Johnson County, Kansas area until 2001. Five years later, I started to purchase investment properties. Getting my real estate license was the next natural step of my real estate career, so I did just that in 2007.
Initially I focused on new home sales, and then went on to manage a successful real estate team for 12 years. They proudly achieved the top 25 real estate teams in the Kansas City Business Journal for five years straight. As it continued to be clear that real estate was my calling, I obtained my Broker's license in 2018, and became a Managing Broker in 2021. Throughout this journey I have enjoyed the growth and am thankful to have served as a member and leader of several high-performing real estate teams in the Kansas City area.
I am very detail-oriented, and knowledgeable of the real estate market and industry, and pride myself on providing an extraordinary level of service and professionalism to my clients, representing them at the highest level.
To share a little more about me personally, I was born and raised in Roeland Park/Prairie Village, Kansas. When not with clients or learning more about our wonderful trade, I am spending time with my family. I have two children, my daughter Sydney is a sophomore at the University of Kansas, and my son Mason is a senior at Shawnee Mission East. Mason will also attend the University of Kansas this and fall and I will become an empty-nester and will be spending a great deal of time with my dog, CJ, who is like a third child. I am grateful for a career in a field that lets me balance my passion for family and my love of real estate and I am excited to be part of the Compass family.
